Extra! Extra! Read all About It! We are excited that The Wimberley View, our local paper, finds our work to protect endangered African penguins newsworthy. While we work with our partners in South Africa, we couldn’t resist visiting the Grand Opening of the Penguin Shores habitat at the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas. While we usually see the endangered African penguins in the wild, we are thrilled that African penguins are just two hours from where we live. We hope that as people visit them, they too will be charmed by them and want to protect the African penguins in South Africa.
