Why donate to KruShan Foundation?
- We don’t have distractions because we are laser-focused on one thing—endangered African penguins.
- The big organizations with high overhead or plush toys (the cost is subtracted from your donation) can’t ensure that at least 97% of your donation goes to programs. With no salaries, office rent, and minimal fundraising costs, we can.
- Our partner organizations in South Africa would welcome your direct donations; however, because of our close relationship with them, we know what they need and can direct funds, including emergency funds, where they will have the most significant impact.

- We’re not in a bubble—we travel to South Africa regularly for on-site visits to African penguin colonies and to work with our partners and African penguin rangers in the field.
